Are

Whatever the reason , I am currently designing "small" sites,
i.e. those with just between 1 and 10 pages at affordable prices.
As a freelance designer, I can reduce the costs as I don't

The
internet is full of web sites, some good, some outstanding and an awful lot that are plain,
dull, or don't 'work'.
To succeed on the internet you need to consider a few things:

Your web site is just one way
of marketing your business, not the only way, but one way and your web address should be
included on all outgoing emails to remind people of its
existence.

Your web site needs to be
built using compliant HTML and CSS (this ensures that all of the search engine robots can read
the text and improves your chances of a successful listing, e.g.
Google).

Your web site should be
attractive, should provide the information required quickly, and should be easy to
navigate.
All
web sites designed by me follow the above rules. Most of the work can be undertaken with very
little input from you; all I need is some ideas of the text you want; how many pages you want;
the domain name you have (or wish me to purchase) and the images for the gallery.
Once I have this information - which is usually provided by email
I will start the design process. 
The
design process is interactive; I prototype a page and make it available for your comments; once
you are happy with the design; I replicate this for the remaining pages and insert the text and
images; I will then validate the HTML and CSS and tidy up any errors and ask you to proof the
site.
Once
you're happy the fee is payable and the design is yours to keep.
I can usually turn around your design pretty
quickly, if you give me all the information you have. In particular I'd like any logos you need
to show, any images, articles, copy, and also any comments on how you'd like it to look. I will
do my best with a design that I hope you'll be pleased with.
If you need somewhere to publish your site, then I
can recommend hosting and sort that out for you along with the domain name and email. If you
need it promoted, I can do that for you or discuss with you the best way within your budget. If
you want to sell on your site, I can also tell you the best way to go about that using secure
online payment pages or I can set everything up for you.
